Jasmin Lesniak – Motherground Founder & Counsellor
Jasmin has a background in health and wellbeing as well as expertise in running women’s retreats and special events. She is a qualified Counsellor with a strong interest in holistic health and wellbeing.
“I was needing some time out; somewhere to go for a couple of days where I could re-ground and centre myself, most importantly somewhere I could go with my new baby. Nothing existed. So I created exactly what I was needing.
Every aspect of a Motherground Retreat has been gently and thoughtfully designed with new mum’s wants and needs in mind. Motherground retreats are something that every mother should be able to experience and enjoy”.
Jasmin’s hope for all new mums is that they can allow themselves the gift of time and space to relax, re-connect and find their balance so they can tune in to their innate wisdom and strength of their Motherground.

Skye Phillips – Yoga Practitioner
Skye is a dedicated yoga practitioner, a certified teacher, and personal empowerment coach with ten years of experience in ‘vinyasa’ (breath synchronised) styles of yoga. Her grounding as a teacher began in India in 2010, which has paved the way for a fascinating journey around the globe ever since, studying with some of most influential teachers of our time.
Skye is currently training under Tiffany Cruikshank (Yoga Medicine), and is part of an inspired team who are looking to create global awareness around the healing power of yoga and the ability to provide yoga as medicine.
Skye’s approach to teaching honours tradition, yet is fresh, authentic, and designed with the modern yogi in mind. She brings forth her eclectic knowledge of movement to her yoga classes, drawing from experience in gymnastics, rock climbing, dance and snowboarding. But her greatest teacher of all arrived in February 2015, with the birth of her beautiful son, Finn. This has led to a journey of softening, surrender, and finding strength in moments of vulnerability.
It is Skye’s mission that every student leaves their mat more nourished, more balanced and more vibrant than when they arrived.
